Keepers of the Flame
Posted on: June 20, 2006
Even before they could make a flame
ancient humans gathered it from the wild
and made a bonfire.
Keepers of The Flame were appointed
to make sure it never went out.
The spirit of the Class of ‘63
has been burning for more than 40 years now.
Thanks to Nancy and the other Keepers
for all those logs you’ve thrown on the pile.
Thanks for the fire that still burns!

Jim,
What have you been doing all these years? I remember when you jumped over my fence into the neighbor's yard and into their swimming pool. You obviously have become very poetic with your great creative writing skills which I for one, have enjoyed reading through the years in the "Jackson 63" chronicles. Thank you for sharing and expressing your thoughts and memories. All, so well put.
